Finance Advisor for Global Planning & Reporting

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Provide an analytical support to the most Senior Executives & decisions makers at Dell and SBU's (LE, PUB, SMB, Consumer)
• Development of future and maintenance/run existing analytical models.
• Working with external data from Global Market Intelligence providers (IDC, etc.).
• Predictive modeling of the Key Business metrics (Revenue, Units, Margin) to understand a future business trajectory.
• Analyze historical data with time-series analysis and regression, using by "Crystal Ball" forecasting tool (Predictor)
• Running a Monte Carlo simulation ("what-if" scenario analysis) by the leading spreadsheet-modeling software (Crystal Ball by Oracle) to provide a range of possible outcomes and the probabilities they will occur for any choice of action.
• Analyzing of Dell's internal plan (leveraging Hyperion Planning Tool) and market/industry trend
• Statistical analysis & interpretation

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Background in one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or Statistics - is required
 Fluent English
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 A general knowledge of statistics and tools such as SAS and Crystal Ball is a plus
 Advanced features of MS Excel and MS Access
 Ability to learn quickly
 Ability to use own initiative and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
 Team oriented
 Strong understanding of Dell's global businesses and key metrics including; demand, products etc is a plus
